Overview

Planet Merge is a physics-based puzzle game in which you launch cheerful celestial bodies into a large space bubble. When two identical planets touch, they combine into the next planet in the game’s evolution chain.

Every successful merge increases your score, but the growing cluster becomes harder to manage. Planets bounce, roll, and push against one another after each collision, so a poorly aimed shot can disturb the entire formation.

Aim, Launch, and Merge

A planet waits outside the bubble before every shot. Drag anywhere to aim, then release to launch it toward the cluster. Its final position depends on the angle, the planets it hits, and the movement created by the collision.

The panel marked Next shows the upcoming planet. Check this preview before shooting so you can prepare a suitable position for the next merge.

Only two identical planets can combine. The complete progression displayed in the game is:

Sputnik → Mercury → Mars → Venus → Earth → Neptune → Uranus → Saturn → Jupiter → Sun

The order is specific to Planet Merge and does not follow the real arrangement of the solar system. Reaching the Sun requires several generations of careful merges.

Keep Every Planet Inside the Bubble

The circular bubble is the safe playing area. According to the tutorial, the game ends when a planet remains outside the bubble after touching another planet.

This rule makes crowded merges dangerous. When two large planets combine, any smaller body trapped between them may be squeezed or bounced beyond the boundary. Leave open space around high-level planets and avoid forcing a merge when several small objects are packed between them.

The built-in tips also demonstrate useful size relationships:

• Earth can fit above Saturn.
• Venus can fit above Jupiter.
• Mars can fit above the Sun.

These examples help you judge how smaller planets can be arranged around larger ones without wasting too much room.

Scores, Records, and Rankings

Points are awarded as planets merge, while the Best counter records your highest result. When a run ends and the score returns to zero, the best score remains visible as a target for the next attempt.

Planet Merge also includes a leaderboard with four ranking periods:

• Day
• Week
• Month
• All Time

The planet chart, tutorial, and tip pages can be reopened from the buttons beside the playing area whenever you need to review the rules.

Controls

• Click or press and drag: Aim the planet.
• Release: Launch it toward the bubble.
• Menu buttons: Open the planet progression chart, tutorial, or tips.
• Leaderboard button: View available score rankings.

Practical Tips for a Higher Score

Study the Next preview before choosing your current shot. A good landing position should complete an immediate merge while also leaving a path for the upcoming planet.

Build small planets into higher stages before attempting risky large merges. If a small object is wedged between two bigger matching planets, the impact may throw it out of the bubble and end the run.

Avoid filling only the center. Spreading planets around the available area gives the cluster more room to react without pushing an object across the boundary. Most importantly, wait for the movement to settle and aim with the entire formation in mind.
