Snap 2048 Idle transforms the familiar number-merging formula into a vertical puzzle with passive income and permanent progression. Instead of swiping tiles across a square grid, you choose where new cubes fall across seven separate lanes.
Every cube generates money while it remains on the board. Larger values improve your income, while carefully arranged merges create space for additional drops.
A full lane does not end the game. Even filling the entire board only prevents you from adding more cubes. You must create another merge or clear the board through Prestige or Salvage to continue.

Click a lane to release a cube selected from the currently unlocked drop pool. Cubes fall until they reach the bottom or land on another block.
Equal values can combine into the next number, following the sequence of 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, and beyond. The first merge moves toward a matching cube at the side or below. The game then enters Suction mode, pulling nearby compatible cubes into the combination.
A carefully placed cube can therefore begin a longer chain instead of producing a single merge. Since settled cubes cannot be repositioned manually, each lane choice influences future combinations.
Every active cube produces cash automatically. The side panel displays your current money, income per second, total board value, Prestige multiplier, and permanent Salvage earnings.
Creating milestone cubes unlocks higher values and improves the probability of receiving rarer drops. This gradually makes it easier to build valuable combinations without always starting from the lowest number.
For extremely large totals, the game extends its abbreviations beyond million, billion, and trillion with Z, Z1, Z2, and higher tiers.
Reaching 2048 is not the end of the puzzle. It gives you two ways to convert the current board into permanent progress.
Prestige removes every cube and awards a lasting income multiplier based on the number of 2048 cubes destroyed. At least one 2048 cube is required, while the cost of using Prestige increases exponentially.
Building several 2048 cubes before resetting can provide a better multiplier. However, waiting too long may leave the board crowded and difficult to manage.
Salvage also clears the board, but it permanently retains the cash generation associated with your 2048 cubes. This income benefits from the current Prestige multiplier and continues supporting later runs.
It is useful when another Prestige is too expensive or when the board no longer has enough space for productive drops.
