Drop Cats and Build Bigger Values

Choose a column to release the next cat. It falls into the lowest available position and merges when it touches an adjacent cat with the same value. The resulting cat has a higher value and may immediately connect with another matching piece.

These consecutive merges create chain reactions that increase your score while clearing valuable space. Although an easy match can be tempting, the best move often prepares several future combinations at once.

Your run ends when there is no room for another cat. To survive, you must keep developing high-value pieces without allowing smaller cats to clutter the board.

Mastering the Hexagonal Grid

The hexagonal layout allows cats to connect from several directions, creating more possibilities than a standard square board. Pieces near the center may interact with multiple neighboring cells, making these positions especially useful for building chains.

However, the unusual board shape can also make poor placements difficult to repair. Scattering matching values across opposite sides of the grid may prevent them from meeting, while filling important central spaces can restrict future moves. Try to keep related values close and consider where each merged cat will appear.
