204Snake is a puzzle game that combines the tile-merging mechanics of 2048 with the movement and feeding rules of Snake. Instead of playing endlessly for a high score, you must complete carefully designed levels by merging numbered critters and feeding the correct ones to the snake.
Each stage presents a different board layout, objective, or restriction. Limited space means that every move matters, as one careless decision can block a useful path or send an unsuitable critter toward the snake. Minimalist graphics, retro effects, and a lo-fi soundtrack give the game a calm atmosphere despite its increasingly complex puzzles.
Use the arrow keys to slide the critters across the grid. When two critters with the same value meet, they merge into a higher-numbered one, following the familiar sequence of 2, 4, 8, 16, and beyond.
The snake can only eat specific values shown in each level. Your task is to create the required critters and guide them safely toward its position. Because a single input moves multiple pieces, you must consider how the entire board will change before choosing a direction.
A successful move should create useful combinations while preserving enough open space for later actions. Merging too early or feeding the wrong critter can leave the puzzle impossible to complete.
204Snake features 32 handcrafted levels divided across four distinct worlds. Additional areas unlock as you progress: World 2 becomes available after completing five levels, World 3 after ten, and World 4 after twenty.
Each world has its own visual style and introduces a new gameplay mechanic, keeping the puzzles varied as their difficulty increases. Progress is saved automatically, allowing you to leave a challenging level and continue it later. The complete adventure offers more than two hours of puzzle content.
